Cameron Park

Cameron
Park's design for living including places where people can work, play and
live make it a very popular area for those wanting to be out of the rush
of the big city lifestyle.
Cameron Park has a large selection of home styles from apartments and
condominiums to upscale homes, ranches and estates. Amazing views of
the Sierras and, from some hilltops, the lights of downtown Sacramento add
to the magic of Cameron Park. Golf is a big draw out here with
Cameron Park's private club and Serrano in El Dorado Hills both within a
short drive.
Cameron Park's real claim to fame is the private airport where the
taxi-ways connect directly to the homes. There is shopping
within the community and the Discount Outlet Center in Folsom offers
bargains to shoppers.
Sitting near Highway 50, residents can easily drive to South Lake Tahoe
to see a show or to ski, hike or fish, or they can visit the wineries in
Cameron Park's backyard. The gold country is just up Highway 50 to
Highway 49. Old town Placerville is up the hill. Apple
Hill's fall festivities are not to be missed. The colors of Fall and
Spring are especially brilliant in Cameron Park.
Cameron Park is an unincorporated area governed by the El Dorado County
Board of Supervisors.
Elementary, Middle and High Schools are part of El Dorado Union School
District at 4675 Missouri Flat Road, Placerville (530) 622-5081
The economy for the entire area is booming. Intel and other high
tech companies that have moved to the Highway 50 corridor continue to
expand.
